Danielle came up with a concept for V8 supercars driver Scott McLaughlin, who requested a helmet with Aboriginal art for the Darwin round. Danielle also painted the boots to match the helmet.

 

The artwork displays a rich story including a touching tribute to the 51 victims of the Christchurch Massacre, which occurred the same year. After the race, the boots were auctioned off as part of Fox Footy’s ‘Ultimate Sporting Auction’.
